Police Week isn't the only time we honor our local fallen law enforcement in the Southern Tier. Today members of STLEMA and their families gathered at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Johnson City to beautify the gravesites and pay respects to three Binghamton Police Patrolmen who made the ultimate sacrifice. The headstones of Alex Horvatt, William McDonald, and George Weslar were cleaned, flowers planted, and respects were paid.

As Police Week in the Southern Tier winds down to a close, we have so many people to thank. First though, we'd like to thank DICK'S Sporting Goods and Dick's House of Sport at the Oakdale Commons. They have been beyond generous in donating time, effort, and space to make the last couple Community Days a success! STLEMA presented them with a plaque thanking them for their dedication.
