I sure hope I see lots of you at the National Train Day celebration at the Newton Depot tomorrow. Our very own "house band", the "Depot Joes," will be performing at 1:00!!! This performance will feature music from their forthcoming album, including fresh and *original* railroad songs about local railroad history, some older railroad songs that have been reworked, and some classic railroad tunes beloved by so many-and the stories behind them!
We will also be running the prettiest engine in North Carolina- Alexander Railroad #6, showing off some original ET&WNC / Tweetsie equipment, and will have all of our model railroads running.
You won't want to miss this special day!
