If you're interested in donating artwork for this year's 5 x 5 Art Exhibit & Fundraiser, you still have time to participate! We’re accepting artwork donations through July 24, and the last day to sign up to participate is July 17. Visit https://jcpublicart.com/5x5-exhibit-fundraiser/ to sign up!

The event will be held on Friday, August 7 at The Pavilion at Founders Park (105 W. Main St.) in Downtown Johnson City. Artists from across the region are invited to show their work for this fundraising effort to benefit Johnson City Public Art. All artworks will be sold for $25 and are generously donated by area artists.

And once again, we're adding another dimension! Artists who wish to donate 3D artwork may submit work that conforms to 5" x 5" x 5". For those submitting 2D art, all art must be securely mounted to the 5" x 5" birch wood panels provided by JCPA.

We have limited quantities of oversized prints available from the road roller printmaking sessions at the Art·Struck Festival! Artist Katie Ries hand carved her original design into a wood surface. These were inked, covered with large sheets of paper, pressed with a road roller, and voila – giant prints were created! The artwork measures 2’w x 3’h.

Each print is $200. Proceeds will be split between the artist and Johnson City Public Art. Please DM us if you're interested in purchasing a print.

Many thanks to Katie Ries for all her hard work and creativity, and thank you to Sage Perrott and the volunteers who assisted with the printing process! And a special thank you to Ryan Milhorn with JC Public Works for operating the roller!

THANK YOU to everyone who braved the rainy day and came out to see us at the Art·Struck Festival!! 🙌🎉❤️

It was a fantastic day despite the weather, and we loved watching so many people come together to celebrate the arts.

There were a number of items found at the event: thermoses, an umbrella, and a pair of reading glasses. If you think you may have lost one of these items, please DM us a description or email [email protected].
