SATAN WILL NOT HAVE THE LAST WORD
Romans 16:20 — “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”
Sometimes the struggles surrounding the Christian life can become discouraging. We see division, false teaching, and attempts to draw believers away from the truth. The enemy seems determined to disrupt everything that brings glory to Christ.
Behind the efforts to deceive God's people stands an enemy who has opposed the work of God from the beginning. Satan delights in confusion, division, and spiritual ignorance. He seeks to weaken the church by turning believers against one another and drawing their attention away from the truth.
But Satan's future is not uncertain. Through His death on the cross, Jesus Christ accomplished the victory promised in Genesis 3:15. The serpent's defeat is certain, and the day is coming when he will no longer trouble the children of God.
Until that day, we are called to remain faithful. We must continue obeying Scripture, growing in wisdom, and refusing the enemy's attempts to divide us. We do not need to surrender to discouragement because the God of peace has already assured us that Satan will not have the final victory.
Call to Action
Do not allow the enemy's activity to discourage you from serving Christ. Stand firm in God's Word today, remembering that Satan's defeat is certain and our victory rests in Jesus.
