On Monday, September 21, 2026, the Johnson City Evening Rotary Club was honored to induct two new members, Nicholas (“Nick”) James Fama and Leigh Ann Fama during a joint Rotary and Rotaract meeting at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine Family Practice Center in Johnson City. Nick is an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Tennessee in Washington County. Leigh Ann works as a Graphic Design Specialist in the Communications and Engagement department for the City of Johnson City. We welcome Nick and Leigh Ann to the international fellowship of Rotary!

On Thursday , September 27, 2026, Kathy Whitaker from the Johnson City Evening Rotary Club delivered hotel ready food collected by club members to Shawna Bederian and Sydnee DeBusk, Family Resource Center Liaisons for our Washington County TN Schools. Kathy reported: “Thanks to everyone who donated food for the Washington County Schools Program. Syndee said she has received 412 requests for assistance since school started.”
