Troop and Pack leaders—grab your camp chair, bring your stories, and get ready for a day of fellowship, learning, and great Scouting conversations at the Iron & Embers Leadership Summit!

Connect with leaders from across the Sequoyah Council and dive into topics like STEM activities, outdoor cooking, high adventure preparation and more. Spend time swapping ideas, building connections, and having a little fun at the ranges and COPE course!

Make sure you and your fellow leaders are:
✅ Position Trained for your current role
✅ Up to date on Safeguarding Youth Training
✅ Current on Hazardous Weather Training

These trainings have renewal requirements, so Iron & Embers is a great opportunity to make sure you're ready, current, and prepared to lead.

The First Horizon Foundation recently recognized the good work being done in the Sequoyah Council with a $10,000 grant. The generosity of our partners at First Horizon make Scouting available for children from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Special thanks to Brooke Messer and Greg Perdue (Tri-Cities Market President) for believing in the Scouting mission!

Past Council President and Eagle Scout (Troop 8, Bristol) Mr. John D. Tickle was recently recognized with the Silver Antelope Award for a lifetime of dedicated service to Scouting throughout the region. The presentation took place during the dedication of the new John D. Tickle National Training and Leadership Center at the Summit Bechtel Reserve High Adventure Base in West Virginia.
