A huge thank you to Matt Lindvall of Peak Geomatics Land Surveyors for his generous in-kind gift to Huschka House! 🏡

When we needed a simple pin locate to identify the property boundaries at our Men's House — just to explore the possibility of widening the driveway — Matt came out and got it done. No fuss, no fee. Just a neighbor helping a neighbor.

🏡 Getting our houses ready for YOU!
This past weekend, some of our amazing volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped us spruce up both houses ahead of our upcoming Open House on June 6th — and wow, what a difference!

From scrubbing, painting, and planting to tidying up inside and out, every bit of love poured into these spaces is a reminder of why we do what we do. These aren't just houses — they're homes where young people get a fresh start.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and gave their time and energy this weekend. You are the heart of Huschka House. 💛

We're putting out a serious call for some strong, hardworking volunteers to help us get the men's house in shape. This is real work — and we need real people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty!

Here's what we need help with:

💦 High-pressure power washing — we need someone strong enough to handle a commercial-grade machine
🪨 Wheelbarrow work — moving stone and rocks (your back and your biceps will thank you later 😄)
🪚 Sanding — palm sander operation, steady hands a plus
⛏️ Digging & general yard work — shovels, sweat, and a good attitude required

If you've been skipping leg day, this is your chance to make up for it. 😂 But seriously — these young men deserve a clean, safe, welcoming home, and we can't do it without YOU.

🙌 Volunteers Needed — This Saturday, May 16th!

We're hosting a Cleanup Day at the men's house and we'd love your help! Join us starting at 9 AM for a morning of hard work, good company, and making a real difference for the young men we serve.

We'll be:
🚿 Pressure washing
🪚 Sanding
🌿 General yard cleanup

The weather is looking great! 😄

Bring your gloves and any tools you think might come in handy.
