The letters that I sent out, the messages in here, and on facebook were a waste of time, only 5 members showed for the meeting. It is official, we are selling the J.C.VFW clubhouse, because nobody but 5 members care. We still have 1 month to try to elect our officers, so we keep our charter at least until in MAY. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement, it's a shame when the veterans that fought so hard to establish a VFW post in J.C. so many years ago, can fail to save it now.

FROM COMMANDER DAVE SHAW VFW POST 2332
To all members of Johnson City VFW post 2332, I received a letter from Department of New York telling me that NY Commander Michael Pascal has assigned his Sr. Vice to attend our meeting on April 10th at 6:30 pm. This is to ensure that we are following the correct procedures in the closing of our club house and our election of Officers. Remember, if only 5 members show up at this meeting, we will have to turn our charter in, as we need to elect 10 Officers, please do the math, we need at least 10 members present.

To let everyone know that Dick Slate is in Bridgewater nursing home. They are trying to get him into oxfords vets home. He has been a member of the Vfw for many years. Well...the 7 of us are sticking it out another year...thanks to new/old officers elected Sr. Vice Betty Franceski, Jr Vice/Patriotic Instructor Dorolyn Perry, Treasurer/Secretary Barb Felsheim, Conductress/Chaplain Miki Fowler, Guard/Trustee Pat Gennarelli, Trustee Mary Hurtt..and for the 6th year in a row as President, me Sharon Goodman. Rest easy ladies, we are still on the job.
