🌟 ONE80 Graduate Spotlight: Herbie Ward 🌟

At One80, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing our graduates continue to grow, serve others, and thrive in recovery. Today, we are honored to spotlight Herbie Ward and celebrate the incredible life God has built through his faith and commitment to recovery.
Herbie's clean date is June 8, 2022, and he is approaching an amazing milestone of 4 years sober!
Herbie shares, "First and foremost, I have to give God all the credit because without Him in my life none of this would be possible."
Since graduating from One80, Herbie has built a successful career at Summers-Taylor, Inc and continues to apply the life skills, structure, and principles he learned during his time in the program. He credits both One80 and Recovery Resource for helping shape him into the man he is today.
But Herbie didn't stop at recovery—he chose to give back.
Today, he works a 12-step program daily, sponsors other men, visits treatment centers throughout the Tri-Cities through H&I service work, and shares his experience, strength, and hope with those still struggling. Recently, he helped open an Oxford House in Bristol, serves on the board as Treasurer of Chapter 16, and is the President of Eloise House.
Herbie is living proof that recovery is possible when faith, willingness, and hard work come together. His story reminds us that recovery isn't just about staying sober—it's about becoming the person God created you to be and helping others do the same.
Herbie, we are incredibly proud of you. Thank you for being a shining example of what God can do through a surrendered life. Your impact is reaching far beyond yourself and touching countless others in our community.

We celebrate a huge milestone for Mike Crush, one of our One80 men, who was baptized at By His Blood Ministry. He's preparing to graduate the One80 program, achieving remarkable milestones like working at Highland Construction, LLC, getting his driver's license back, and purchasing a car. Michael's story showcases recovery, restoration, and redemption through faith and perseverance. We're proud of the man he's becoming. Let's congratulate him and pray for his continued journey.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who served and gave so much for our freedom. We are forever grateful for the sacrifices made by those who stood with courage, strength, and love for others. May we never forget their service and dedication.

This weekend, our ONE80 men had the opportunity to attend the Appalachian Regional Roundup themed “Keys of the Kingdom.” What a blessing it was to be surrounded by others in recovery, hear powerful speakers from different states, and experience the strength that comes through fellowship, hope, and healing.

Recovery is not meant to be walked alone. Events like this remind our men that there is a community of people who understand the struggle, celebrate the victories, and continue carrying the message of hope to those still suffering.

We are proud of our guys for continuing to grow in recovery, faith, and fellowship.

HYGIENE DONATION DRIVE FOR THE MEN OF ONE80

Many of the men who enter the One80 program come straight from incarceration or rehab with absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs. As they begin rebuilding their lives, we help provide basic hygiene essentials until they receive their first paycheck and can purchase their own items.

We are currently in need of:

🧼 Soap & body wash
🪒 Razors & shaving cream
🧴 Shampoo & deodorant
🧦 Socks

Every donation matters. These simple items help restore dignity, confidence, and hope to men working hard to change their lives.

To the moms who stayed up praying through sleepless nights…
Who answered phone calls when no one else would…
Who never stopped believing, even through the addiction, heartbreak, setbacks, and pain…
Thank you.
Your love, strength, and faith have helped carry these men farther than words can describe. Recovery is not just a journey for the individual — it impacts the entire family, and today we celebrate the mothers who stood beside their sons through it all.

Today we celebrate a major milestone at One80 as two incredible men, Shawn ODell and Jason Hammonds, graduate from the program!
Shawn has worked hard to build a brighter future and will continue his career with Summers & Taylor as a concrete finisher. More importantly, he continues to spread the love of God wherever he goes and has a heart for teaching anyone willing to hear the Word.
Jason has also shown dedication and perseverance throughout his journey getting his driver's license and moving into his own place. He will continue his career with Highland Contracting, LLC on the trim crew.

The men of One80 had an incredible training class at Claddagh Combat Academy tonight. Every other week, these men step into an environment that is about so much more than physical training—it is about growth, discipline, and building character.
At Claddagh, their mission is rooted in the three pillars of the Claddagh: Love, Loyalty, and Friendship. These values align so strongly with what we strive to teach at One80—helping men reach their physical and mental potential while cultivating healthy, lasting relationships in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Through this training, the guys are learning resilience, confidence, and the importance of community. Together, we are reminded that we are stronger when we stand as family.
A special thank you to Pastor Scott for leading the class and investing in these men every step of the way.
At One80 and Claddagh Combat Academy, it’s clear—this is more than training. This is transformation.
