Sailing Classes for the Visually and Hearing Impaired by Community Sailing School at Pistakee
These class are designed to accommodate blind or visually impaired, and deaf or hard of hearing individuals. They are meant to be an opportunity to experience the joy, excitement, therapeutic value, and rewards that go hand in hand with learning how to sail.
June and July
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
5:30pm -8:00pm

At the Community Sailing School, you don’t need a big engine, a shiny speedboat, or anything fancy to have an incredible day on the water. Sailing is simple, affordable, and surprisingly addictive, the kind of experience that makes you feel connected to the lake instead of racing across it.

We teach real skills, build real confidence, and create the kind of summer memories that don’t require horsepower. If you’re ready to learn something new, meet great people, and enjoy the lake in the most peaceful (and fun) way possible, our classes are open now.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the courageous individuals who served and sacrificed for our country.
