Rivermont Living

The Rivermont Community began in 1974 as a structured plan that called for several distinct neighborhoods with various home styles. In fact, the Rivermont Community plan is one of the first of its kind in the Atlanta area. Built on rolling hills and steep cliffs in a forested setting, Rivermont provides pleasing curb appeal, spacious lots, dramatic views and secluded privacy for its residents.

Today Rivermont consists of more than 900 homes nestled within the natural topography of the land in the neighborhoods of The Colony, Fairway Ridge, North Peak, The Rivers, The Mounts, The Sanctuary, and The Village. Rivermont’s plan takes advantage of the unique land features near the Chattahoochee River. Rivermont homeowners own a private 27 acre park on the Chattahoochee River as well as a clubhouse, pool and tennis courts located in The Colony.
