Spring Family Camping 2026 is in the books! Pack families had a choice between Scout Weekend at Talladega or traditional camping at Woodruff in the north GA mountains. Everyone had fun!

A big weekend for Scouting!

Friday we celebrated at our Blue & Gold Banquet where we also held our AOL Crossover.

Saturday, a few of our Webelos had an overnight campout where they prepared the meals and built the fire along with a few more scout skills.

Today, we saw lots of familiar faces at Scout Day at the Capitol.

So much fun!

Our AOL’s crossed over to their chosen troops last week and we couldn’t be more proud of all their hard work. We wish them all the best as they set off on new adventures and know they’ll continue to make us proud!

Another Pinewood Derby is in the books! Congratulations to all our racers and especially our winners! Hopefully everyone had a fantastic time. A massive thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this day happen, and a special thanks to the scouts from Troops 1717 and 629 for their help. 🏎️ 🏆 🏅

We're all getting excited about Pinewood Derby! This event takes a WHOLE VILLAGE to pull off smoothly, so be sure to talk to your den leaders about how you can get involved to make this event a success.

If you need help building your cars, the Atlanta Area Scout Shop is hosting a workshop on Saturday, January 31st from 10:30-2:30.
