CCJC - Questions of the week for Johns Creek:

1) Should the Johns Creek Mission statement include aspects of the GA Constitution Article I Section II Paragraph I & II?
GA Constitution Article I BILL OF RIGHTS Section II ORIGIN AND STRUCTURE OF GOVERNMENT Paragraph I. Origin and foundation of government. All government, of right, originates with the people, is founded upon their will only, and is instituted solely for the good of the whole. Public officers are the trustees and servants of the people and are at all times amenable to them. Paragraph II. Object of government. The people of this state have the inherent right of regulating their internal government. Government is instituted for the protection, security, and benefit of the people; and at all times they have the right to alter or reform the same whenever the public good may require it.

2) What does or do you want to happen to illegal immigrants when detained in the City of Johns Creek?

This banking debacle. It is coming to light that the SVB & related banks seem associated with individuals & ideals aligned with this administration. Is the administration truly bailing out all of these individuals and related banks? Is this a coincidence? Is this possibly the open door, happenstance or contrived, to nationalizing the banking system? Especially after learning how the US population responded/capitulated during the last “crisis”.

Mental Health bill HB 520 has passed the house and is headed for the Senate. Please alert others to call their senators.
House Bill 520 eliminates protections of citizens in crisis and the mentally ill. It poses a threat to the rights of every Georgia citizen, and we need to act NOW.
HB 520 gives the right for law enforcement to confine someone based on the affidavits of two people, whose identity is to be concealed. “… information personally identifying the affiants shall be redacted and concealed.” (lines 473-478) This is in violation of the Bill of Rights and is asking law enforcement to violate these rights.
HB 520 will increase the number of people on psychiatric medications.
