💙💛

Eight students represented Grant Union last week at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

Throughout the week, they networked with students from across the country, pin traded, and competed in their events. A special congratulations to Eliza Bailey and Jhett Williams, who placed in the Top 16 in the nation in the Community Service Project event! What an incredible accomplishment and an amazing way to represent Oregon FBLA.

We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work, professionalism, and the way they represented our school at the National level!

Today we explored the Alamo, attended the awards ceremony, and even squeezed in a little more pin trading…all while celebrating Ivy’s birthday!
While our finalists, Jhett and Eliza, didn’t finish in the top 10 of their event, placing in the top 16 out of 117 competitors is an incredible accomplishment. Their project, The Prospector Promise, is absolutely worth celebrating.
San Antonio was good to us. These students represented Grant Union and the state of Oregon with class, kindness, and teamwork. They supported one another every step of the way…from tracking down the best pins to supporting Eliza in her state officer duties.

And a special shoutout to Marissa for being the absolute best team mom ever!

That’s a wrap on NLC 2026 💙💛

Day 4: We started the day with a 5am wake-up call - Jhett & Eliza advanced to the finals! As one of only two Oregon teams to make the finals in a presentation event, they had just four hours to get back to the Convention Center and present alongside the top 16 teams in Community Service Project.

The rest of the day was spent pin trading (turns out our kids have quite the knack for it) and exploring a little of San Antonio. The heat and humidity were no joke, but the views made it worth it.

Day 2: First day of NLC! We spent the day exploring the expo and of course pin trading. This year, we upped the ante with our own chapter pins. Tonight was the Opening Session, and tomorrow competitions begin 💙💛

NLC Day 1 - State Day was a blast! We spent the day with all of the Oregon members at Six Flags and ended it at Dave & Buster’s. Two more of our chapter members arrive tonight, and tomorrow the conference officially begins 💙💛.
