Built in Joelton, Tennessee. Working across Wyoming.
This is the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory's mobile lab, a BSL-2 laboratory built by Odulair on an 18ft box truck.
Why a lab on wheels matters for a state public health program:
- Testing moves to the outbreak, the county fair, the tribal clinic or the flood zone, instead of samples making a long drive to the state lab
- BSL-2 containment for the infectious-agent work public health labs do every day
- 18ft truck platform: no CDL required, so trained lab staff can drive it themselves
- All-aluminum and stainless interior with no wood anywhere, built to take daily disinfection
Odulair designs and builds mobile labs from Sprinter vans to 53ft trailers and 20/40ft containers, BSL-1 through BSL-3. Woman-owned, made in the USA.
