👑 CALLING ALL LCYLA QUEEN CANDIDATES! 👑

The 2026–2027 Leon County Youth Livestock Association Queen applications is now available online! https://www.lcyla.net/queen-information

Eligible young ladies involved in 4-H or FFA are invited to represent their organization, showcase their involvement in the Leon County Youth Livestock Show, and compete for the title of LCYLA Queen!

📅 ENTRY DEADLINE: January 20, 2027 by 5:00 PM
💲 ENTRY FEE: $100
📍 Turn in applications to: Leon County AgriLife Extension Office, 3rd Floor, 113 W. Main St., Centerville

Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in interviews, LCYLS activities, show ring duties, the Buyers Dinner and Auction, and more as they represent the youth of Leon County!

Leon County & Texas Outdoor Heroes Veterans Appreciation Events! 🇺🇸💚🇺🇸🍀🇺🇸Thank you to these amazing 4-H families & master gardeners for their help serving lunch & dinner to veterans & their families, providing desserts, and helping clean up! Thank you Expo Staff for y’all’s help too! It was a jammed packed day serving those who have served our country & fought for our freedom! Thank you veterans, active duty military and all military families for their service!

Not too late to get a team together and start practicing for the county 4-H Food Challenge & Food Show Contest! Contact your club manager to see if your club already has a food challenge box together or get the supply list and make one from items you have in your kitchen!
