So sorry for the lateness of this update! Ou next packing will be on October 13th . We will meet at the Senior Center in Cadiz. Anyone wishing to help out is welcome. We are packing early because of the early darkness.
We can use cookies, Halloween candies, gum, mints sunflower seeds,nuts,etc.
Monetary donations to support the shipping is always welcome.

June 9th the Harrison County Military Support Group gathered together and packed 27 boxes for military members. Our volunteers stepped up in big fashion. We have lots of leftovers for the next packing which will be the Halloween/Thanksgiving packing. With this in mind we are asking for monetary donations to assist with shipping. On average each box is $30.30. Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation can mail it to: HCMSG, 86990 Amsterdam Road, Jewett, Ohio 43986.
We want to thank anyone who donated or showed up to help out with this project. Each person is very important to us and we sincerely appreciate everyone.

We are getting ready for our Fourth of July packing for the military. Seems like the time has flown by. We will be packing for 30 military members. As usual there
are many items that can be sent to our troops. Below is just a sample of things that we have sent before. As always, we thank you all for assisting us with this project. It's near and dear to all of us,
Homemade cookies, dried fruits, pop tarts, protein bars, granola bars, puzzle books, toothpaste, toothbrushes, pencils, pens, sunflower seeds, chapsticks, gum, lifesavors, white socks, drink mixes, mints, candy bars, nuts and anything else you can think would be included in a care package.
Thank you again for your assistance with this project. Also, a sincere thank you to the Harrison News Herald and the Cadiz Senior Center for helping us to make sure this gets done. We will be meeting at the Senior Center on June 9th at 4:00PM

Hello to all, our Military Support Group Easter packing was very successful!! We want to say thank you to all whom helped. Each item and every person are important to make these packings possible.

We packed for 26 soldiers and had a great turnout. Hopefully, the soldiers will receive their boxes before Easter. Below is the list of volunteers we want to thank for showing up. Together we are able to make these packings happen for our military members!

The Harrison County Military Support Group will be meeting on March 3rd, at 4PM for the Easter packing. We really appreciate all of our community, volunteers, donations, helpers, the Senior Center and the Harrison News Herald. Without you all we could not keep doing this project. Our soldiers are grateful and we are very grateful for them and the sacrifices they make. Here's a list of items that we could send them:

Pop tarts, chapstick, toothbrushes, toothpaste, puzzle books, mechanical pencils, sunflower seeds, instant coffee packets, hot chocolate mx, c***r mix, drink mixes, mints, candy bars, hard candy, sunflower seeds, peanut butter, protien bars, gum, nuts, rice krispie treats, homemade cookies, dried fruit, pop tarts, protein bars. And anything else you think they might like.

The Harrison County Military Support Group would like to thank anyone that helped us out in any way. Whether you came in person or sent things for us or allowed us to use your building. Anyway at all, it is appreciated and we are very thankful to all of you. If we've missed anyone or misspelled your name, I apologize. It's hard to keep names straight when we're very busy.
