We need brave souls (and a few undead ones 👀) to help us pull off this year’s Zombie Laser Tag at HorseThief Reservoir!
This is your chance to be part of one of the coolest Halloween events in Kansas — and we’ve got several fun ways to volunteer:
🧟 Be a zombie actor
🔦 Help with registration or team check-in
🔥 Assist with the fire pit roasting area

It’s a blast every year — perfect for friends, families, students, or anyone who loves spooky fun!

👻 Calling all ghouls and goblins! 🧟‍♀️

Have you been dying to volunteer for a Halloween event? 💀 This year, say goodbye to being pelted by paintballs 🫣and hello to Zombie Laser Tag — the most frighteningly fun way to volunteer!

We’re looking for scare-squad helpers to:
🧟 Dress up as zombies (we’ll add the hauntingly good makeup!)
🍫 Work the concessions stand (snacks, drinks & s’mores)
🔧 Help set up or tear down the laser tag field

📅 Volunteer dates:
• Sat, Oct 11 – Field Setup
• Fri, Oct 24 & Sat, Oct 25 – Event Support
• Sun, Oct 26 – Field Teardown

We have some BIG news... and a BIG check to go with it!!!

👉 Our friends at Kansas Tourism and Kansas Department of Commerce awarded us one of the Kansas Tourism Attraction Development Grants. 📣 Shout out to Sam Parish for writing and submitting the grant for the Friends Group.

🧟‍♂️🧟🧟‍♀️ These funds will support a new spin on Wild West Zombie Paintball... ZOMBIE LASER TAG!!!
📅 Save The Dates: October 24-26
🎃 Trick-or-Treat The Park, Carnival Games, Inflatables, Train Rides, and experience the new and improved zombie hunting!
