Our mission: to fight human trafficking, empower refugees, and equip leaders in Peru, Brazil, and Haiti. Our mission is to empower people to transform their communities with the gospel. That’s why we come alongside local leaders and equip them to carry out the work that God has called them to do in their communities. We want to see lasting change in the countries where we work, so we employ nation

al staff who are deeply invested in their communities. We then work with our staff to build volunteer teams by raising up local leaders and volunteers. Those leaders and volunteers then begin to invite friends, family, and neighbors to participate in our programs. This creates a ripple effect that transforms entire communities! The Lily and The Sparrow was founded in 2014, and we have programs in 4 countries.

The 83.33 Club is built on a simple idea: faithful monthly giving can create a real, measurable rescue. When someone gives $83.33 per month, it adds up to $1,000 a year, and $1,000 is the cost to rescue one woman from trafficking in Lima, Peru.

At our gala, Justin Rush spoke about indifference—the tendency to show little or no concern for something. Indifference allows us to ignore problems simply because they don’t directly affect our lives.

But what about trafficking?
Are we indifferent?

The truth is, we don’t have to be.

There are three ways you can stand with us in the fight against exploitation:

Be a payer – help financially support the work of this ministry.
Be a player – come serve alongside us in Peru.
Be a prayer – cover this mission, our staff, and these women in prayer.

Every role matters. Every yes makes a difference.

Meet Mathias! Mathias is 12 years old and part of the teen program at our Community Center. He loves soccer and spends as much time as he can practicing and playing with his club team.

Through the support and mentorship he receives at the Community Center, Mathias is surrounded by a safe place to learn, build confidence, and grow in faith alongside other students in his community.

Our child sponsorships are $50 a month and help provide education support, mentorship, and a Christ-centered community that protects and invests in kids like Mathias. If you are interested in sponsoring a student, send us a message to learn more!

Our Story

The Lily and The Sparrow Inc. is an international non-profit organization that works with refugees and human trafficking survivors.

We have ministry teams in 4 different countries, and all of our team members share a common mission. Our mission is to empower, disciple, and spread the love of Jesus to the nations.

We EMPOWER people to be world changers in their families, communities, and societies. We DISCIPLE people both nationally and internationally by propelling them forward in their relationship with God and teaching them to be strong leaders. Finally and most importantly, we SPREAD THE LOVE of Jesus to those he referred to as “the least of these” in Matthew 25:35-45.
