UGA Extension Wayne County Office will be closed Monday May 25, 2026 for the Memorial Day Holiday.
Our office will reopen on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at our regularly scheduled business hours.

A note from 4-H Educator, Jill Clary:
It’s bittersweet to announce that I will be heading off to an exciting new opportunity as Pierce County’s 4-H Agent starting May 1st. I am forever grateful for all of the support and love from Wayne County 4-H’ers, parents, volunteers, and community leaders. I will definitely miss seeing yall each month, but I will just be next door, so it’s more of a “see you around” than a goodbye. Thank you all for your continued support for Wayne County 4-H! 🍀💚

Hey middle schoolers, we are gearing up for one of the best events of the year, Junior Spring Conference at Camp Jekyll!! We will have engaging workshops, time to hang out with your friends from across the district, and of course BEACH TIME!!! You do not want to miss this fun-filled event! COST: $85 - includes transportation, room, meals, activities, & a t-shirt. Cash or check payments are due to the 4-H office by March 31st or you will be removed from registration.

Camp spots are limited and given on a first-come-first-serve basis. A $100 cash or check non-refundable deposit is due at the time of sign up to secure your spot to camp. The deposit is included in the total cost of camp.

One Georgia is a unique agricultural education experience that introduces youth to the diversity of agriculture and career opportunities across our state—from rural to suburban to urban communities. While agriculture may look different across Georgia, it remains the backbone of our state’s largest economic sector.
