Today is 'Back to School' event day at SHOES for SHORE. We will be giving new sneakers and a free book to eligible area children. Stop by Trinity United Methodist Church at the corner of Allegheny and Glover Streets (next to CVS) to attend our event. Enter through the Glover Street entrance and walk straight ahead through the doors to the stairwell. Then come down the stairs to the basement to visit. Hope to see many of you today! Blessings!!!

Just a reminder that starting this Saturday all SHOES for SHORE events will be held at our new location in Trinity United Methodist Church located next to CVS on the corner of Allegheny and Glover Streets. Our hours of operation remain 10:00 am - 12:00 noon on the third Saturday each month. You may park in the lot to the rear of the Church just off Glover Street or along Glover Street. Please enter the Church through the Glover Street entrance and come down the stairs that are straight ahead. We hope to see you Saturday!

SHOES for SHORE is relocating. Beginning with our November 19, 2022 event we will be operating at Trinity United Methodist Church located next to CVS on the corner of Glover and Allegheny Streets. Please use the Glover Street entrance and come to the stairway straight ahead and proceed down the stairs and through the door. We look forward to continuing our ministry in this new location. As normal, we will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on the Third Saturday each month.

Dear SHOES for SHORE supporters, it is with much sadness that I make the following announcement. Our next event scheduled for October 15 may likely be our last event at our current location of room 101 in the Tiadaghton Valley Mall. The room is being repurposed which finds our ministry in need of a new operational location.

We would require approximately 150 square foot space to serve our clientele. The room would need to be lockable to keep inventory and other assets secure between events. We would require a few keys to allow SHOES for SHORE staff access to replenish inventory and back up computer records. Please contact me If you know of any legitimate rooms that are available with the corresponding contact person for me to discuss details with.

I would hate to see SHOES for SHORE cease to exist as it has proven to be a vital resource for underprivileged families in our area since 2009. We regret the position we find ourselves in but it is due to circumstance beyond our control. Please prayerfully consider the future of SHOES for SHORE.
