Each art action begins with a community led clean-up and site greening.

Art Activates is a civic beautification project that seeks to breathe new life into the unadorned walls, abandoned lots, and forgotten spaces with in our community through the practice of art. Whether the action is paint or sculpture, temporary or permanent, the ambition of our efforts is to draw the issue
of urban blight into the public discourse through art. Neighbors, business owners, and fello

w artists come together to clean, prep,and prime the walls. By involving all stakeholders in the process we look to remove any stigma associated with street art.
