Holiday Party and Community Engagement 2024!

Hudson Speaks Against Sexual Violence’s South Asian initiative, Bolo Behen (Speak Sister), hosted its inaugural Holiday Party on December 15, 2024, at Hudson County Community College (HCCC) in Jersey City. The event was a remarkable success, drawing over 100 community members for a festive evening of celebration, camaraderie, and awareness-building.

The gathering embodied the spirit of the holidays while highlighting Bolo Behen’s commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for South Asian Americans, especially those affected by domestic and sexual violence.🎈🎊🎄

Attended Women’s History Month 2018 event preparation Committee meeting. This Year's Theme is " Nevertheless She Persisted: Women Who Fights Against All Forms of Discriminations Against Women" .Under the leadership of Jersey City Council Women-at-Large Joyce Waterman of City of Jersey City, New Jersey, we are organizing Women’s History Month in March, 2018. This will be the Third year where City of Jersey City will host various activities, workshops, expos throughout the month highlighting the important roles women have been playing throughout the history. We are very proud to be a part of this amazing organizing committee. Stay tuned.
