As Soxcess Founder Jeremy Garriga is abroad studying, it was my honor to accept sock donations on behalf of Soxcess from the students from the A. Harry Moore school in Jersey City. Their efforts will impact homeless clients at St. Lucy’s Shelter in Jersey City and the Hoboken Shelter.

Thank you to the wonderful students, Wendy Thompson and Principal Jason Jusino for coordinating and facilitating this kind gesture.

A heart-felt thank you to all runners who took part of this trail race on this cold April morning. Runners were encouraged to donate a pair of new socks to benefit the homeless.

A very special thank you to Kim Levinsky for spearheading this initiative on behalf of Soxcess. You could have chosen any non-profit yet you chose to work with us and for that we love you!

In total over 400 pair of new socks were donated and will be donated to the Hoboken Shelter (Hoboken, New Jersey), St. Lucy's Shelter (Jersey City, NJ) Palisades Emergency Residence Corp. (Union City, NJ) & Meadowview Psychiatric Hospital (Secaucus, NJ)

A general scolding to the 1.32 Billion Facebook followers world-wide:

How is it that a posting of a video where a person who's getting physically assaulted or humiliated garner more Likes than one about some entity doing something to help his fellow man?

Throughout the years, our non-profit Soxcess as well as sister non-profits such as AngelaCares, have brought to light our attempts to fend for those who cannot fend for themselves. Absent of immediate family or the few who give our attempts the importance needed, the likes are redirected towards posts that interest people most
; the mayhem, the funny, the embarrassment, the suffering and humilation of others.
What legacy are we leaving for the next generation?

Don't be embarrassed to Like or share what really matters. It's cool to gjve a thumbs up to all the non-profits world-wide in the trenches. It's not cool to ignore their efforts

For however long we’ve been doing this, it doesn’t get any easier. Met this gentleman outside a Walgreens and when I offered him new Bombas Socks, he mentioned wearing the same socks for 5 days. He now owns 2 pair.
