This village is rethinking what a water purification system can be.

Not just safe. Not just reliable. But sustainable.

Here’s how they’re doing it:

💚Running the entire purification process on solar power

💚 Harvesting rainwater to reduce groundwater dependency

💚 Reusing wastewater through soaking pits that recharge the soil

💚 Training students as Safe Water Ambassadors to spread awareness

The result?

Clean drinking water for 2,000–3,000 people, with a drastically lower carbon footprint. Because access shouldn’t harm the environment it depends on.

Every movement has a beginning💧

Ravi Reddy, founder of Community Pure Water, sat down with Bhumi Pednekar and told her the truth, safe drinking water is a solvable problem. It always has been. What it needed was someone willing to stop waiting for someone else to fix it.
