Some of the best conversations happen around the table.

At the Indiaspora-India Philanthropy Alliance Summit (India Philanthropy Alliance) in Dallas, our Chief Philanthropy Officer Sumeet Rawla and Director-Markerting & Donor relations 𝑹𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒌𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒚 had the opportunity to host a lunch table focused on an issue at the heart of our work: clean water.

It gave us a chance to bring clean water into the broader conversation about philanthropy and social impact, and to exchange perspectives with others committed to creating meaningful, lasting change.

For our organization, clean water is more than an infrastructure challenge. It is foundational to healthier communities and to the opportunities that can follow when people have reliable access to safe water.

We are grateful to everyone who joined our table, asked questions and shared perspectives. These smaller conversations and connections are an important part of gatherings like this one.

The Summit may be over, but we hope the conversations around the table continue.

How do we engage a new generation of givers?

At the Indiaspora India Philanthropy Alliance Summit in Dallas, Community Pure Water’s Chief Philanthropy Officer, Sumeet Rawla, joined Preeti Nandanar and Amit Banerjee for “Not Your Parents’ Philanthropy: Innovations Meeting a New Generation of Givers,” moderated by Sanjeev Joshipura.

The conversation explored how philanthropy must evolve to meet younger donors where they are. For us, Sumeet’s reflection captures an important part of that shift: social media can spark awareness, but meaningful engagement can deepen when young donors have opportunities to connect with the work and experience its impact firsthand.

We were proud to contribute to a conversation about how philanthropy can become more engaging, experiential and relevant for the next generation.

A new 500 LPH Community Pure Water Centre is now serving the people of Chegur GP, Nandhigama Mandal, Rangareddy, Telangana, giving the community access to safe drinking water.

Donated by PEGA, the Water Centre was inaugurated on 14 August 2026, with PEGA representatives, local officials, school representatives, the CPW team, and village residents in attendance.

With 150 community members joining the inauguration, the Centre is a step towards safer water, preventing water-related diseases, and helping the community focus on building a brighter future.

On 4 August 2026, the people of G. Bheemanapally, Gudipally Mandal, Nalgonda district, marked an important milestone with the inauguration of a 500 LPH Community Pure Water Plant, made possible through the generous support of the Krishnan Shah Foundation.

The inauguration was attended by Sri. Balu Nayak, MLA, Devarakonda; Srinivas, PR DE; Naveen, MPDO; Srisailam, Village Secretary; Smt. K. Sravani Srinivas Reddy, Sarpanch, G. Bheemanapally; Sri. P. Saidul, Deputy Sarpanch, G. Bheemanapally; S. Krishnamma, Anganwadi Teacher; K. Srinivas Rao, Assistant Manager (CDF), Community Pure Water; and P. Prakash Reddy, Assistant Manager (CDF), Community Pure Water, along with Gram Panchayat Ward Members, the Community Pure Water team, and village residents.

This initiative is more than a water purification plant. It is a step towards preventing waterborne diseases, protecting lives, improving livelihoods, and creating a healthier future for generations to come.

On 25 July 2026, Community Pure Water inaugurated a 250 LPH Water Purification Plant at Appapur Penta Ashrama School in Lingal Mandal, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Revanth Chandra, District Forest Officer, Nagarkurnool; Mr. Kotaiah, District Tribal Welfare Officer (DTWO); Mr. Nagaraju, Assistant Tribal Welfare Officer (ATWO); Mrs. Shivamma, Sarpanch, Appapur; Mr. Ramudu, Mandal Parishad Officer (MPO), Lingal; Mr. Gopal, GP Secretary; Mr. Anjaneyulu, Head Master; Mr. Ramesh, Operations Manager, Community Pure Water; Mr. K. Srinivas Rao, Assistant Manager (CDF), Community Pure Water; Mr. Subramanyam, Senior Technician, Community Pure Water; and Mr. Ram Reddy, Technician, Community Pure Water, along with eight school staff members, 110 students, and members of the local community.

This new purification plant will provide 110 students and the school community with reliable access to safe drinking water. By helping prevent waterborne diseases, protecting lives, and promoting healthier daily habits, the initiative creates a safer learning environment where students can thrive.

Access to safe drinking water is more than a basic necessity. It strengthens communities, supports better livelihoods, and lays the foundation for a healthier future for generations to come.
