Bike JC is a community-based advocacy organization that aims to make Jersey City streets safe and welcoming for bicyclists, by promoting bike lane creation, bike parking, education, and group rides. We are bicyclists, commuters, parents, BMX riders, businesspeople, planners, and advocates for the full potential of Jersey City. We are committed to working with our neighborhoods, schools, and electe

d officials to make Jersey City the most bike-friendly city in the state. We want to help bicyclists commute, exercise, enjoy scenic rides, ferry children to activities, and head out shopping in increasing numbers in the immediate future. Studies have shown that the mere presence of more bicyclists (and pedestrians) encourages motorists to drive with more caution and decreases accidents. Bicycle lanes not only tend to increase the number of cyclists but can act as a traffic calming measure, helping pedestrians navigate streets safely as well. Bicycling is also economical, easy on the environment, and transforms the average commute into a great workout.

The big bike ride is coming up THIS SUNDAY!! Register now at BIKEJC.ORG for the Jersey City Ward Tour, rolling out of Exchange Place Sunday, June 7, at 11 a.m. sharp.
You’ll cruise all around Jersey City with thousands of your closest friends, at a casual, social pace, in a celebratory 16-mile parade of bikes, returning to Exchange Place in midafternoon. Join us!!

This Sunday, Let’s Share a Meal will be serving refreshments at the Lincoln Park Stop during the Jersey City Ward Tour.

We’re looking for volunteers to help distribute bananas, water, and snacks to riders throughout the day.

Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word, your support helps us make a difference.

Friday, June 5: Grove St. PATH Plaza 4pm - 8pm

Saturday, June 6: Exchange Place Plaza (Next to Surati Holi Hai) 12pm - 5pm

You can pick up bibs for other people as long as you have their QR Code.

Merch Sales and Pre-Ordered Merch Pickup is available at all all early bib pickup locations.

Online registration closes at 10:15am on Sunday. After that you need to be on-site to register. Bib pick-up and on-site registration ends at 10:45 am. We strongly recommend arriving by 10:00am to pick up your bib or register. Vendors, coffee, and plenty of bikes will provide entertainment!

P.S. Our merch pre-orders close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, June 3!
