❤️🩶 GOOD DEEDS BEFORE A GOOD TIME! 🏁

Before we turn up for HAWKCOMING 2K26: Formula 86, let's show our community what it truly means to be a HAWK!

The UMES National Alumni Association is putting our motto, “Deeds, Not Words,” into ACTION!

This Homecoming, we're giving back by supporting initiatives that make a difference in the lives of our UMES students!

❤️ Mama Hytche Resource Center – Collecting nonperishable food items to help combat food insecurity.

👔 The Justice Rack – Collecting gently used professional attire to help students dress for success, from interviews to internships and career opportunities.

🧴 Project Hygiene – Collecting personal hygiene products to help students access everyday essentials with dignity and confidence.

🛍️ HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Bring your donations to Alumni Central November 6 in the SSC and November 7th at the tailgate! Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference.

Homecoming is about more than parties, pictures, and reconnecting. It's about remembering where we came from, lifting others as we climb, and leaving our beloved UMES better than we found it.

🏁 Before we hit the gas on a GOOD TIME, let's fuel our campus with GOOD DEEDS!

Let's show the next generation of Hawks what alumni love, service, and community look like!

Bridging the Gap: Honoring Our Past, Empowering Our Future.

❤️🩶 Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk!

What an AMAZING day! Today’s UMES Onsite Admissions & Information Program was all about creating access, sharing the UMES experience, and helping the next generation of Hawks take that next big step toward college!

Prospective students and their families heard directly from the UMES Admissions team, who shared valuable information about admissions, academics, financial aid, and the opportunities available at UMES. We were also joined virtually by current UMES students, including students from the Tri-State area, who gave an honest look into campus life and shared their experiences as Hawks.

And the highlight of the day… 10 students received their acceptance to UMES ON THE SPOT! 🎉🙌🏾 Congratulations to our newest Future Hawks! We can’t wait to see where this journey takes you.

A huge THANK YOU to the UMES Admissions team, our current students, Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem, chapter members, volunteers, partner Liberated Success, parents, and everyone who helped make today possible. This is what staying connected and giving back looks like. 🩶❤️

The Tri-State Hawk family just got a little bigger! 🦅
