Welcome to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore New York City Tri-State Alumni Chapter. The chapter has a long history of supporting the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The chapter raises funds for student scholarships, hosts annual recruitment events, and performs community service projects mainly in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut regions. The chapter also keeps alumni in the metropolitan area engaged and active with our alma mater. Our chapter motto is “Stay Connected”.

The new fiscal year begins July 1, and we invite you to join or renew your membership with the UMES NYC Tri-State Alumni Chapter!

For just $30 annually, you'll help us support student recruitment efforts, provide scholarships and resources, engage alumni through meaningful events, and strengthen the UMES presence throughout the Tri-State area.

Every membership helps us make a greater impact while creating opportunities for alumni to connect, network, and give back.

Whether you're a recent graduate or a longtime Hawk, there's a place for you in our chapter.

Join us as we continue to grow, serve, and represent UMES with pride.

Today, we celebrate and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives for our country.

Memorial Day isn't just a long weekend. It's time to remember the bravery, service, and sacrifice of those who lost their life so that we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.

As we gather with family and friends, let us remember our fallen heroes and think about their loved ones.

Forever grateful. Forever remembered.

A Legacy in Black: The 1886 Experience. Congratulations, University of Maryland Eastern Shore National Alumni Association development committee, on a successful recognition donor gala. It was an honor and a pleasure to be amongst the honorees, various donors, and fellow alums, especially our very own Dr. Allen Singleton.
