The expectation that the city will clean it, fix it, etc. on such common things like sweeping the front of your house or clearing the catch basins is the wrong approach. Taking pride in your community and stepping up to improve changes the culture of where you live. All of a sudden your neighbors are sweeping their property and now your block is the cleanest…and the next block sees this and so on. Be the person that makes the positive change

Here is a fun fact:
If UCONN and UCLA win their first round games there will be two coaches (Danny Hurley - UCONN and UCLA assistant Darren Savino) that used to play basketball at CV park playing against each other. Danny grew up on Ferncliff and Darren just outside of CV. Both attended St. Anthony’s high school.
