Domestic violence isn’t always physical. Abuse can take many forms, including:
➜ Verbal abuse — insults, threats, and constant criticism
➜ Financial abuse — controlling money, restricting access to bank accounts, or preventing someone from working
➜ Emotional abuse — name-calling, humiliation, put-downs, and manipulation
➜ Psychological abuse — intimidation, gaslighting, and making someone question their reality
➜ Sexual abuse — pressuring or forcing someone into s*xual activity without consent
➜ Digital abuse — monitoring phones, tracking locations, or controlling social media
Abuse is about power and control, and no one deserves to experience it. Every survivor deserves to be heard, believed, and supported. đź’ś
