Adopted! Gaby first met little Beanie when she was his nurse during his very first visit to . Completely smitten, she immediately offered to foster him once he was ready to graduate from bottle feeding.

After he was weaned, Beanie moved in with Gaby, Anyssa, and their furry family. Within days, he had made himself right at home. He adored their dogs, Cameryn Michaels and Miko Mateo, but it was their handsome black cat, RuPaw, who truly stole his heart.

Before long, Gaby and Anyssa realized there was no way they could part with this sweet kitten, and RuPaw agreed! Beanie was clearly meant to be part of this loving family, and we couldn’t be happier for him.

A special thank you to for rescuing Beanie, and to Jules and Daniel for lovingly bottle feeding him through his earliest days.

Congratulations, Beanie! ❤️

Say hello to Beanie!! This darling boy was the only kitten born to a very feral mom who has been spayed and returned to her colony. He is a delightful little one - a sweet kitten with an old soul. He’s working on getting big and strong, and will be ready for his forever home in late May / early June.

Courtesy Post! Look at this delicious boy!! Sir Von Crumples showed up a few months ago with sad eyes, clearly looking for help. It didn’t take long to see he wasn’t meant for life outside—he’s friendly, gentle, and clearly had a home at some point. While we may never know his past, we do know he deserves a loving future.

After just a week indoors, his true personality blossomed. About 4 years old, Mr. Von Crumples is playful, affectionate, and a big fan of cuddles and belly rubs. He’s easygoing, unfazed by noise, and great with other cats and children. Whether he’s curled up in a cozy bed or relaxing in your lap, he’s simply happy to be loved.

Mr. Von Crumples is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FeLV/FIV negative.

Please spread the word! We’ve seen it first hand and it’s incredibly tragic. Lillies are highly toxic to cats. Just a nibble of pollen can cause kidney failure. If you have cats keep the Lillie’s out of your house!

Rescue isn’t always easy, and sometimes the smallest lives leave the biggest impact. We have said goodbye to our tiny bottle baby after just a few short days.

He was surrounded by warmth, care, and so much love—especially from his devoted bottle feeders Jules and Daniel, who gave him every possible chance.

Please give your fur babies an extra hug tonight in his memory.

Rest easy, little Douglas.

This is the heartbreaking reality we’re seeing again and again: young feral moms giving birth outside, with nowhere safe to go.

This block in Ward B has been on our TNR partners’ radar for months. But without enough spay/neuter appointments available, they simply haven’t been able to keep up. This mama cat gave birth to six kittens and, in a desperate attempt to protect them, began moving them—leaving this tiny one behind.

He is now safe, and we can only hope she and her remaining babies are safe as well. What we do know is this: without intervention, she will be pregnant again soon.

Jersey City is in the midst of a full-blown animal welfare crisis. We urgently need accessible, low-cost spay/neuter and veterinary services—for community cats and for the people trying to care for them.

The good news? Our new city council is listening.

Now we need you. Please contact your councilperson and make your voice heard. These animals don’t have a voice—we have to use ours. Visit www.jerseycitynj.gov/cityhall/CityCouncil to find your councilpersons contact information. Thank you!
