“Since moving in with Pakistani Muslim foster parents, Rebecca Brown - who is white British - has had school friends ask if she lives with terrorists, because of their religion. She wants people to know they are just like any other family.”

On seeing Rebecca's foster parents are Muslim, one friend said, 'I bet they have bombs in their house'.

MUSLIM KIDS IN NEED OF A Muslim FOSTER HOME / ADOPTION:

There are 4 children, ages 4-11. Two boys and two girls. They are all born in US and of course, American citizens. They don't have any health or behavioral issues, but they lost both of their parents. The father is from Pakistan. He shot and killed their mother back in April of 2016. He is currently in prison. A parental parent took them in, but unfortunately passed away back in October 2016.
They used to be in a charter school with a lot Muslim children and are raised religious with the Islamic faith, but the family that has them now are devout Christians and take them to church.
They are in desperate need of finding a family willing to foster to adopt.

Most of us shy away from fulfilling the Sunnah of taking in orphans into our own homes out of fear of not being able to comply with the rules of the faith. This Sunday, we will be hosting a comprehensive workshop on the subject which will cover everything you need to know about adoption and foster care both Islamically and logistically.

I cannot emphasize enough how important this, and we will be dissecting this topic in greater detail than anything out there insha'Allah so that we're equipped spiritually and practically to implement this as a community.

I will be streaming it live here on my FB page and the edited recording will be posted at www.ilmflix.com

The program will run from approximately 2:15 PM - 5:30 PM insha'Allah. Get the word out and hope to see you either in person or here online for this.
