Hello RTJC fam Joe Amerouso's mother passed away yesterday. Joe is such an important part of RTJC. We extend our condolences to Joe and his family. The wake is Monday from 4 to 8pm at Greenville Memorial.

Hey FB Peeps. I'm looking for funding for Rebuilding Together Jersey City. RTJC does home repairs for low-income homeowners. All the money we bring in goes directly towards building materials. No paid staff, all volunteer. So the more money we bring in, the more homeowners we can help. And there is A LOT of need. My question is, we want to host a lunch for prospective donors. But a cold ask email to foundations etc. rarely works. Thus I was looking to see if anyone has contacts in local companies/corporations whatever, that might attend a lunch and be interested in learning about RTJC and possibly fund. There are tons of corporations and their foundations but it is so hard to find a contact. Any help is appreciated. Currently, we have Connell Foley Law firm, Provident, and Lowe's

Greetings Rebuilders! RTJC would like to announce that we will be postponing RTJC Day 2024 from April 6th to a date to be determined in June, 2024. We will share the date as soon as it is selected. Thank you as always for all your support!

We will be having our annual awards dinner on July 21st from 6:30-9:30pm at the Moose Lodge in Jersey City. We will be honoring multiple volunteers who have been dedicated to RTJC. In particular we will be awarding the Ed Siliere Community Service Award and the Rosemary Berkowitz Sekel Award for outstanding service in the nonprofit sector. The inaugural recipient is Matt Laracy, founder of Magnificat House and Mary's Place. Please consider joining us to celebrate their accomplishments.

Join us in celebrating our recipients and volunteers! Dinner and unlimited drinks are included. Don’t forget to bring cash for the raffle!

Rebuilding Together JC is saddened to hear of the passing of Ed Silliere. Ed was the consummate volunteer. His smile and spirit exuded the love he had for others and lit up the barbecue at the end of the day with his grilling prowess and his contagious laugh. He will truly be missed. We send our condolences to Ed's family and always strive to keep Ed's spirit alive in the work we all do each day.
