On Earth Day the Bayside Park Neighborhood teamed up with members who wanted to give back to the community from Oishii, a vertical, indoor strawberry farm with a location on the Southside. We worked on the Crescent Native Plant and Wildlife Habitat. Thanks for the hand, Oishii and Jersey City Parks Coalition

In 2016 the Bayside Park Neighborhood hosted our first Egg Hunt with the Jersey City Anti-Violence Coalition Movement and Sweets 4 Miles. A couple of years later we included collaborating with the Greater Neighborhood Alliance. We love our community and appreciate our partners!

The Hudson County Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) application is now available.

Applicants can access the application through the Neighborly portal (https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/hudsoncountynj/Participant) at their convenience. There is no deadline for submission as applications will be received on a rolling basis. Please review all application materials carefully and ensure that submissions are completed in full.

The CAFE’ NOSTALGIA JC proudly announces its 2025 UJAMAA
MARKETPLACE HOLIDAY FAIR, a joyful celebration of cooperative economics and local
entrepreneurship. Hosted at Café Nostalgia, this vibrant community marketplace highlights
small businesses, artisans, and makers from across Hudson County and neighboring
communities.

The marketplace will open on Black Friday, November 28, 2025 weekend and continue
throughout December 21, 2025, offering a space for vendors and community members to
connect, shop, and share in the spirit of UJAMAA — building and maintaining our own
stores, shops, and businesses together.
