Jersey City Holiday Meal Exchange

Thank you to all who participated in our December Holiday Meal Exchange!
~ Nearly 60 volunteers cooked and delivered food
~ Almost 40 donors helped us to feed additional families through our amazing caterer, Chef Claude Lewis of The Freetown Road Project.
~ Over 220 meals were delivered to over 40 families across Jersey City! Way to help your neighbors this holiday season!
As we look to 2021, we are committed to reducing food insecurity on a local level. Stay tuned to see what we're cooking up next!

Last call for volunteer cooks and drivers! If you aren’t able to volunteer but would like to help out financially, we’ll connect you with a local caterer who we are working with, and you can contribute to cover the cost of a family’s meal. Meals will be distributed this Wednesday, 12/23. Sign ups close tonight! If you are able to help out this week, please sign up at the link in our bio. We appreciate your help!

Update #2! Volunteers to cook main dish proteins and drivers needed! Cook your favorite holiday dishes for your neighbors or zip around the city pretending to be Santa but with food! If you aren’t able to volunteer but would like to help out financially, we’ll connect you to a local caterer that we are working with, and you can contribute to cover the cost of a family’s meal. Are you in need of a Christmas meal for your family or are you looking to help a neighbor? Sign up to receive a meal or volunteer by 12/20.
