We have moved from this page to our Instagram under Spirit of Liberation Jersey City. Still SOL JC, but focused on direct action, community defense, and political education. We run the local Rapid Response ICE Watch Hotline for Jersey City.

We have a guerilla garden committee that’s active alongside support for mutual aid and tenant rights organizing as well. Palestinian solidarity and all oppressed peoples fighting for self determination.

Last winter, The Center for Undocumented Students + Solidarity And Mutual Aid Jersey City created a cash pool to provide mutual aid to the students of St Peter’s who are undocumented. This is a great channel to redistribute wealth from those who have class privilege to those who are financially marginalized. Please consider a recurring contribution, something that feels significant to you personally.

Solidarity Saturday, our survival program will take place at tomorrow 12p until all resources have been distributed.

Our regular program runs every Saturday at 1pm at the corner of Bergen & Academy but tomorrow we’re expanding our collaboration we’ll be working in coalition with & .earth. Connect with us.

Prepare a dish for Solidarity Saturdays!

We’re seeking potluck-style contributions to our ongoing food distro. Our goal is to provide good food and useful resources to our neighbors while also raising political consciousness around issues relevant here and abroad. Cook a veggie-friendly dish and join us and our effort to serve the people!

Our distro takes place every Saturday at 1 pm in Bergen Square.

My name is Nur Abouzid & I'm fundraising on behalf of my partner's grandmother. Last night, a fire ripped through the apartment units bordering hers, resulting in significant roof damage to her unit, leaving the entire building being rendered unfit to live in. All of this sudden uncertainty has been highly stressful.

No one should be without adequate housing, especially not the most vulnerable members of our society during an ongoing pandemic.
