Jersey City, with funding from the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA), is conducting a study to develop a “Traffic Calming Toolkit,” which will help make Jersey City’s streets more comfortable by slowing down traffic speeds and discouraging dangerous or aggressive driving.

On October 21st from 8am – 3pm, there will be a public workshop on North Street near the Cambridge Avenue entrance to Washington Park.

There will be the opportunity for the community to help install a traffic calming element from 8am – 12pm and to provide feedback on traffic calming from 12pm – 3pm.

Thank you to Councilman Saleh for inviting me to join the Ward D community meeting on the proposed development for the burger king lot.

We are grateful for all of the great community feedback, union representation, and all the love to my home neighborhood ❤️

I look forward to seeing how this proposal meets the needs of the community to move forward.
