We're excited to announce that Ujamaa Café is expanding to LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!

What began as a bold vision to reimagine food access through food economics and food justice has grown into a national movement focused on building sustainable community infrastructure, strengthening local food systems, and advancing health and economic equity.

Because food access is just the beginning. We're building the infrastructure for communities to thrive.

🎃🍎 HOBOKEN, WE’VE GOT SOME EXCITING NEWS!

We’re kicking off our Halloween Week farm stands with a NEW LOCATION in ! 🍂✨

Fresh by Ujamaa Café is moving to the Hoboken Multi-Service Center, a more central location that will allow us to reach and serve even MORE of our Hoboken neighbors with FREE fresh produce!

And because it’s Halloween Week, we’ve got a few spooky surprises in store for you and the kiddos! 🎃👻🍬

💚🥬 It’s Pals & Produce Day! 📦✨

Today, we’re dispatching nearly 100 boxes of fresh produce, dairy essentials, and nutritious snack packs to cancer patients and their caregivers experiencing food insecurity across 10 New Jersey counties! 🚚💚

We are proud to partner with @ and @ for the yummy goodness.

Through our monthly Pals & Produce Program, we deliver more than groceries. We’re delivering nourishment, dignity, and care directly to the doorsteps of those navigating a cancer journey.

Because access to nutritious food should be one less thing to worry about. 💚

🚨 SATURDAY UPDATE, FAMILY! 🥬🍎

Due to potential inclement weather, our Paterson farm stand has moved indoors to Passaic! Same Saturday love, just a new location. 💚

This Saturday, October 3, you can find us at TWO farm stands from 11 AM–1 PM:

📍 BAYONNE — Stephen R. Gregg Park during JFZ Sports Youth Flag Football
📍 PASSAIC — NEW LOCATION — Mi Casa Es Puebla, 77 3rd Street, during the Screen & Be Seen: Health + Wellness Fair

Our Bayonne location is still on as scheduled. Only our Paterson location has moved to Passaic so the community can safely gather indoors.

Fresh produce is still coming. 🥕🥦🍎 Tell a friend, tell a neighbor, tell somebody’s auntie! 😂

Yesterday, we did what we do best. 💚

Two Jersey City farm stands: The View + 116 MLK Drive. We showed up. You showed up. Fresh produce was served, and 621 neighbors were impacted. Thank you to the Hudson County Commissioners and County Executive for supporting the health and well-being of every county resident through our farm stand program! 🍅🥬

CAMDEN, WE HERE!!!! 👀😏

This is a BIG one! CFHE’s Ujamaa Café has officially expanded to Camden, New Jersey with our first-ever Camden location AND our first-ever pharmacy location at Miguel's Pharmacy! 🙌🏾

We’re bringing fresh, healthy and culturally relevant food access into another space where community health already happens — and we are just getting started. 👀

Stay tuned for details on our official launch + ribbon cutting! And Camden… let’s just say this won’t be the last Ujamaa Café you see. 🤭

📍 BAYONNE — we’re popping up at Steven R. Gregg Park during JFZ Sports youth flag football.

📍 PATERSON — and yes, PATerson! We’re popping up in front of City Hall during the SCREEN & BE SEEN: Health + Wellness Fair hosted by Paterson City NJCEED

Both farm stands are 11 AM–1 PM this Saturday, October 3.
