The Jersey City Marathon steps off next Sunday, with lots lots of road closures and parking restrictions. Read below for information and check out the post on the official Jersey City account for more info

🚗 MOVE YOUR CAR No-parking restrictions begin Saturday, April 18 at 4:00 PM on most race route streets. Newport Pkwy. restrictions begin at 1:00 PM Saturday. Vehicles not moved by the posted deadlines will be towed. 

⚠️ Washington Blvd. closes at 3:00 AM Sunday — earlier than all other streets. Move your vehicle before midnight Saturday. 

Free alternate parking is available at several Jersey City public school lots (PS #15, PS #30, PS #40, PS #41, Lincoln, Ferris, and Snyder High Schools), Jersey City Medical Center, City Hall, and Caven Point Field beginning Friday, April 17 at 6:00 PM. All vehicles must be out of school lots by 11:59 PM Sunday.
