Blessed Feast of Thomas Sunday! Today marks the first Sunday liturgy and Sunday School service at Sip Avenue. We are so blessed to finally see the day so many of us have prayed for.

Sunday is the day! As we go into Thomas Sunday, we also are so excited to have our first Sunday liturgy and Sunday School service at Sip Avenue. God is so wonderful for giving us this gift.

Our annual Servants Day was held at Sip Avenue today beginning with the Divine Liturgy and followed by planning for the service of our church youth. Please keep the servants and the service in your prayers so our Lord Jesus may complete the work.

2025 marked the year we finally began praying in our new home at Sip Avenue. For many years, our priests and congregation have prayed for this moment. God bless you for your prayers and support over the years.

These past few years, the HAVEN Match Campaign has been an integral piece of support for the construction. As we are now moving in and supporting multiple large facilities, we are again kicking off the HAVEN Match Campaign to provide the church the necessary capital to do so. The match will run from December 27th to December 31st. A link and more details will be provided soon. Please consider taking the blessing this Nativity season.

“The 5K is 17 years old. What have we been running for all these years? Where’s the church?”

For years (even more than 17), we have remained faithful in God that He would deliver us the church that would meet the always growing needs of our congregation. We prayed and worked towards that goal, even when it was not in sight! During those years of serving and praying together, our congregations has unexpectedly been blessed with an event that has brought us closer together. Every year, we come together, sweat, eat and laugh.

Now, God has finally blessed us with a church that is beyond what we dreamed of (see the pics!). As we prepare to open its doors, we come again for another 5K. Closer than ever! God’s timing is perfect.

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭
