📢 Calling all bilingual English-Spanish speakers in New Jersey!

The New Jersey Consortium for Immigrant Children (NJCIC) needs volunteers to provide in-person interpretation during asylum interviews and psychological evaluations for immigrant children and youth. These young people deserve the chance to tell their stories and get a fair shot at justice — and your language skills can help make that happen.

What you need:
-Fluent in English and Spanish
-Available IN PERSON on weekdays during regular business hours

Please only apply if you have consistent weekday daytime availability

💙 175 walkers. One powerful step forward.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for NJCIC’s 5th Annual Immigrant Children & Youth Walk! Together, we raised over $32,000 — our biggest walk fundraiser yet! 🎉

Five years in, this walk is more than an event. It’s a celebration of immigrant youth, a show of solidarity, and a reminder of what we can do when we come together.

The walk was one step. The work continues. ✊🏽

Youth. Community. Solidarity. Energizing. 💚

When we asked our team what the NJCIC Walk means to them, these were the words that came to mind.

Together, we're taking Garden State Steps to Liberty, walking in support of immigrant children and youth and building stronger, more welcoming communities across New Jersey.
