A HUGE thank you to Pet Supplies Plus for hosting a pet food drive throughout the month of May in support of PAWS Rescue Inc.!❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the generous donations of food and supplies. The puppy food has been especially appreciated, as we currently have several puppies in foster care who are growing fast and benefiting from the extra nutrition.

Community support like this makes a real difference for the animals in our care, and we are so thankful for businesses that choose to give back.

ADOPTION OF PRINCESS BUTTERCUP💕

Adopting our teacup Chihuahua, Princess, through Paws Rescue was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The adoption process was smooth, organized, and welcoming. We completed an online application, interviews, and a home inspection before finally meeting Princess at her foster mom’s home.

From the start, it was clear how much everyone cared about finding Princess the right forever home. Rachel and Princess’s foster mom, Jess, were wonderful to work with—kind, supportive, compassionate, and deeply committed to her well-being. It was obvious that Princess had been loved and well cared for during her time in foster care.

When we brought Princess home, they made her transition as comfortable as possible by sending her with food, clothes, toys, treats, a blanket, her kennel, and everything she needed to settle in. Their thoughtfulness and generosity made the experience even more special.

Since joining our family, Princess has completely taken over the house—in the best possible way. She has brought so much happiness into our lives and has acclimated beautifully with me and my roommate, who proudly call ourselves her moms.

Most importantly, Princess is happy, comfortable, and thriving in her new home. Watching her become more confident, playful, and affectionate each day has been a joy. We are incredibly grateful to Paws Rescue, Rachel, and Princess’s foster mom for making this adoption experience so positive and memorable. Their dedication and compassion truly changed Princess’s life—and ours as well.

Join PAWS Rescue, Inc. and others as we support Stella’s in a fun filled family and dog friendly event!

Summer Celebration and Ice Cream Social at PUP Idaho

WHEN: Saturday, June 6 | 5:00–8:00 PM
WHERE: PUP Idaho - 2734 E Kuna Road, Kuna ID

•Live music from Nelson at the Helm
•Delicious brews from Meriwether Cider
• Free Dog Swims (must pre-book at PUPIdaho.com – see link below)
•Dozens of wonderful vendors - Yummy food trucks, coffee cart, and more
•Specialty Pup-Cups of dog safe ice cream complete with photo backdrop
•Raffle items ranging from a rafting trip to a paddle board to a sumptuous spa basket, and more!

All are welcome, although our four-legged guests must mind their manners and stay on leash!

All proceed benefit Stella's Shelter Fund; a non-profit created to funnel money to the underfunded shelters, rescues and sanctuaries all over Idaho.
Stella’s provides funding to last resort “we need some extra help right this minute” cases.

Sweety is an adorable approx 6 year-old black and tan miniature Dachshund weighing just 12.5 pounds, that is ready to find her forever home through PAWS Rescue, Inc.

This sweet retired mama is officially done raising puppies and is now looking for a family who will spoil her with all the love and attention she deserves.

Sweety is a happy, affectionate little dog who has never met a stranger — men, women, kids, and dogs are all instant friends in her eyes! A home with no cats is preferable as she will chase. When you call her name, her whole body wiggles with excitement, and her favorite place to be is curled up in your lap soaking up affection. When she’s on your lap she wants to stare deep into your eyes so that your souls can touch.

Sweety’s favorite things include walks, cuddles, and being close to her people. She walks nicely on a leash, sleeps quietly in her crate all night, and is fully house trained.

Because of all the recent changes in her life, Sweety can experience some separation anxiety and needs a home where someone is around most of the time to help her feel secure and loved. *This is non-negotiable*

Lark is a 4-month-old, 18 pound Old English Bulldogge/Boxer/Pug mix who is ready to find her foster-to-adopt home through PAWS Rescue, Inc.

📍Foster-to-adopt details: Applicants will complete a foster application with the intent to adopt, pay the adoption fee, and then finalize the adoption once Lark’s veterinary care is complete. Applicants must be located between Idaho Falls and Boise to utilize one of our partner veterinary clinics.

Lark and her siblings came into rescue after battling parvo. Thanks to dedicated care from their foster family, they have completed their quarantine, made a full recovery, and are now ready to start the next chapter of their lives.

Lark is full of personality and charm. She’s incredibly smart, playful, and always ready to join in on the fun. Lark thrives on attention and has a naturally outgoing, affectionate nature that makes her impossible not to love. She carries herself with a sweet confidence and brings a bright, joyful energy wherever she goes.

Lark has done well with other dogs and cats. She is an energetic puppy who will need continued socialization, training, and patience as she learns the ropes of being a well-mannered adult dog. With consistency and love, she’s sure to grow into an amazing companion.
