Spencer, at the age of 17 months, became one of the thousands of children diagnosed each year with this life threatening illness.

Spencer Reid Foundation is a New York Not-for-Profit Corporation dedicated to providing financial and social assistance to families of children with cancer within the tri-state area. Spencer Reid Foundation is a New York Not-for-Profit Corporation created in May of 2011 after we heard the devastating news that one of our dearest and closest friends’ son had been diagnosed with leukemia. His diagno

sis hit us close to our hearts and opened our eyes to exactly what a family faces when their child is confronted with years of arduous treatments. Spencer’s experience has shown us that the daily joys of childhood have taken a back seat to the rigorous treatments and hospitalizations. Children need something to put a smile on their faces during these grueling times. Additional stress and fear was put on Spencer’s family when his mom had to quit her job to care for him. We know that they are not alone in this battle. Many other families are in similar situations. Our hope is that we can help lessen the stress that children suffer during their fight against cancer, and reduce the financial burden that parents face. Parents can then focus on what really matters - putting smiles back on their children’s faces and helping them become cancer survivors.

Our best buddy Hudson just finished treatment for Ewing sarcoma, and we are celebrating in the most magical way possible by sending him to DISNEY!!! 🐭 ✨🏰❤️

The last time Hudson was at Disney, he began experiencing the symptoms that ultimately led to his diagnosis. This trip is not just a vacation. It is a full circle moment. A celebration of strength, resilience, healing, and hope.

We are beyond grateful to the Spencer Reid Foundation and Nicole’s Hope for loving on this family and generously covering their hotel expenses. Truly angels on earth.

Now we want to help make this trip even more special.

As you know, Disney can be incredibly expensive, and after everything this family has walked through, we would love for Hudson to experience all the joy. The souvenirs. The special treats. The character experiences. Every magical moment his heart desires.

We are running a fundraiser to give Hudson the absolute best time possible. If you feel led to give, any amount will go directly toward making this celebration unforgettable.

Today we dropped off 135 ComfyCozys to the NYU Langone Cancer Center for Kids. These shirts allow patients to maintain their dignity while receiving chemotherapy through their ports. 🧡🎗️

We delivered over 200 books to NYU Langone Cancer Center for Kids today. And bonus- we got to see Dr. Fligman! He was an integral part of Spencer’s treatment and we will forever be grateful for his expertise, attention, and care!❤️🎗️
