Welcome to our Route 7 Appalachain Artisan Fellowship page.

We have rented a building to display and sell the work of local artist, as well as offer classes, and are promoting local people, who live and love our beautiful Appalachian region . We hope to help the
communities, along with showing the youth of how their grandparents did thier work of arts in the past. Please continue to check back for updates as we will continue to build! Appalachian Arts , Eastern Kentucky , Artisan Center, Arts Center, Art

Today final earthly goodbyes will be said to our friend, Paula Bates. We were Blessed to have had Paula join us at the Rte 7 Artisan Fellowship shop, many year’s ago, she volunteered her time and artist talents at the shop, until we closed. She seemed to be in her element, greeting customers, teaching painting classes and also taking art classes 🥰 At yesterday’s visitation, I was introduced to her husband, Tommy, and told him what a joy it was to have had Paula as part of our group and that we couldn’t have stayed open without her volunteer participation. Love and prayers for him, their daughter and entire family.🙏💔🥰😢 Here’s a few photos I found of Paula’s shop time 🥰 May I add, how pleased we were to see the family used one of our photos of Paula attending a snowman gourd painting classes , on her obituary card, it’s a wonderful picture of her ❤️

Years ago , when we were first getting our community meetings, at the Gazebo started. We started with a pop up craft fair and picnic. Those were wonderful years and many senior citizens joined us and spent their Tuesday evenings eating and visiting with their friends and neighbors, while the others played co****le ❤️

We were saddened to learn that our friend , Debra Lindon, had passed away 😢 She was always a supporter of our little group and the shop, and was the best at making cinnamon rock candy and gingerbread, which sold out at the shop, quick as she brought it in. Prayers for her dear family that she loved so well 🙏💔😢

A few weeks ago we got word that our neighbor and friend, Angie, Angela Ison Webb, was very sick. We were shocked and saddened about her illness, she was well loved throughout the area and always willing to help others 🥰 In 2016, when we first started the Route 7 Artisan Fellowship, Angie was always supportive and bought anything she thought we might need and was very involved in taking the arts and crafts classes. I looked back through our photos and picked out a few with Angie in them, making everything from a dulcimer, paintings to bird feeders and so much more. After we closed she began taking classes at the Highway 7 Community Outreach and supporting their programs as well, she will be missed 😢 prayers for her family and friends 🙏💔😢
