This past weekend we held the first HVR Rick Fiske Memorial race in honor of our late treasurer and founding member, and we want to congratulate Jim "Jimbo" Macaulay for winning this inaugural event.

It's always a great time when the HVR misfits get together, and we want to thank all who came out as well as our gracious hosts NASA MidAmerica and the great folks at Ozarks International Raceway.

More photos and videos will be posted this week...so stay tuned.

Happy 250th Birthday, America. 🇺🇸

This year marks an extraordinary milestone in our nation's history: 250 years since the founding of the United States.

For a quarter of a millennium, America has been a place where ideas have been tested, industries have been built, and generations have worked to leave something better for those who follow. Our history has been marked by triumphs and challenges alike, but through it all, the enduring ideals of liberty, opportunity, and self-determination have continued to inspire people from every walk of life.

Those same ideals are reflected in communities like ours, where people come together over a shared passion, lend a hand when it's needed, and preserve the traditions that connect us to the past while inspiring the future.

As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, all of us at Heartland Vintage Racing wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and memorable Independence Day.

Here's to 250 years of freedom, and to the road that lies ahead.

Happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸

Good fathers have always been there to encourage, support, and believe in their children. Whether that passion was racing or something else entirely, they showed up, cheered from the stands, offered advice when it was needed, and helped build the confidence to keep moving forward.

At Heartland Vintage Racing, we're fortunate to see those family connections every time we gather at the track. They remind us that the greatest legacies aren't measured in trophies, accomplishments, or race cars, but in the impact we have on the generations that follow us.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who encouraged dreams, supported passions, and helped shape the people we became.

Happy Father's Day from Heartland Vintage Racing.

Happy Memorial Day.

This holiday doesn’t ask much of us.

Just that once a year, we pause long enough to remember that some people raised their right hand, answered the call, and never made it back.

Not for recognition.
Not for applause.
Not for a three-day weekend.

Their service became someone else’s future.

Take a moment today.
That small act of remembrance is part of carrying their legacy forward.

Race weekends may be fueled by gasoline… but they’re held together by family.

Happy Mother’s Day from Heartland Vintage Racing to all the moms and grandmothers who’ve supported the hobby, cheered from the sidelines, shared the journey, and made lifelong memories at the track.

We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️🏁

Here’s where we are racing this weekend! It’s an absolutely beautiful facility and an incredible track.

Thanks to NASA MidAmerica for making it possible and to Grassroots Motorsports Magazine for shedding light on some of the urban legends!

The most mysterious race track in America? It might very well be Hedge Hollow Raceway.

Nevertheless, the word’s slowly getting out. It’s not so secret anymore–and it may just be the best driver’s track, too, according to several of our sources, including our own tire test editor, Andy Hollis.

What makes Hedge Hollow so special? And why should you race on it? Find out at the link in the comments.

There have been a few drivers contact our club president about having issues registering for the Hedge Hollow race. After speaking with Donna at NASA Mid-America we found out that when HVR enters one of our races at NASA’s event, you (the driver) need to use the Guest Group tab not the guest group under the Racing Tab. You’ll notice ((((Welcome HVR drivers! NASA Members save $52.90 on this registration. [Become a NASA member today!](https://members.drivenasa.com/account/memberships/new)))) on the correct tab.
