I have been rescuing animals most of my life. about a year ago there was some dogs in our pound that were being very badly treated by our ACO who was also our Chief of police. I had to file a complaint and face off against him in a city hall meeting. He was fired but because of his actions 2 of the 3 dogs in the pound had to be put down, I had to have some help getting into the pound to get the do
gs out and that is when I met the great ladies at Cleveland Area Pound Pals. At that time I started working with them. I take the Dogs to OSU , foster and answer the phone. At the same time continuing to taking in the dogs from Jennings and other areas that are in need when I can. Myself and 2 other ladies decided to start our little rescue group as well so we can try and help as many fur babies as we can. We took in a momma and 6 babies last yr. the momma's name was Hope and that is where the new name comes from. we are a foster based rescue and take care of the animals ourself. We have no facility. my names is Joyce Borges and I have been doing the Jennings Animal Rescue for years and know with the help from 2 great Ladies who love the fur babies a bunch H.O.P.E. Animal Rescue was formed. Our goal is to Help save as many lives as we can and finding them great forever homes through our group while still working with Cleveland Area Pound Pals. Toni Hagood takes care of the fostering apps. and the transports from them and Jennifer Carter takes care of their Adoption Apps. We all need to have one goal and that is to help the babies with no voices.
