This is personal!!!!

Seven years ago, I embarked on a journey to establish WCMP in an effort to change young lives. But in doing so, I fulfilled God’s purpose for my own life and changed it for the better. I can barely type this post through my tears of joy. Many of you know that I don’t have children of my own but I love all my students as though they are mine. We’ve have had fun times, uncertain times, learning times and praying times. Cameron, Daisy, Fredrick and Sheldon just know that my love and support doesn’t end here. I pray that you all have the courage to dream your biggest dreams because they will come true!! You all have made me sooooo proud. You may stumble along the way, but just know that Miss SeQuonda will always be a phone call away. I’ll always be your biggest cheerleader.

Thanks to the parents for entrusting your children with me over the years. And to my team and family that supported us along the way. Last but not least, to my Savior, indeed, that has kept me and covered us all, THANK YOU!!! Here are some fun memories…

Great opportunity to attend a great institution!

Incoming Fall 2022 freshmen with a high school grade point average of 3.2 or higher will no longer be required to submit SAT or ACT scores when applying for admission to Valdosta State University.

Interested students are encouraged to schedule a campus visit and take advantage of the application fee waiver in effect through March 31.

Since March, we have had to switch things up quite a bit. We went from group gatherings to one on ones to none at all. But in the midst of it all WCMP still kept our kids education, along with all of our health as a priority.

During the summer we did "drive-bys" to provide school supplies, clothes from WCMP's Clothes Closet and just to say hello! Now that several school districts have resumed classes, we have had to make some changes to do whatever was asked of us to assist students so that they could get acclimated to this new way of attending school. All the while ensuring that everyone is staying safe.

Thank you so much to CareerSource North Florida for this beautiful recognition! I was so honored to be asked to participate in this year's STEP Program and I look forward to engaging with the students next year. A special thank you to Shuana Adams-Farries & Mr. Anthony Jennings of CareerSource N.F. in Madison County for believing in WCMP. It was a great experience.

Class of 2020 Vision!!

WCMP recognizes and salutes Senior Joseph Marshall for his Academic, Athletic and Jr. AFROTC successes while attending Hamilton County High School. You've become like a son to me therefore, this occasion is so bittersweet. It has been such a great pleasure mentoring you & watching you grow into a mature young man. I would always give you the charge of being a positive example for your peers since you were the oldest of the HAMCO crew and you did just that. From the Honor Student celebrations to the celebratory hangouts, we've had a blast! We wish you much continued success as you continue on your journey. We love you!!
