Jennerstown MOMS Join Us! Meetings are held the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of every month beginning Sept. 15th from 9:30-11:30 at Jennerstown United Methodist Church on Route 30

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a place that gets moms. We understand your unique needs, challenges and joys in this vital season of early mothering. You will be welcomed in our MOPS group just as you are! At our MOPS group you will have a chance to socialize with other moms, hear some great teaching, have discussion time and participate in creative activities.

So we are shooting for our original start date of September 21st. We have to go with the same time for several reasons. Mostly because of volunteer availability but also because of church availability and after school jobs/sports. So it will be from 9:30-11:30. We will discuss where this will go through the year & how often we will meet. Please bring something to share for breakfast. If you have any questions please pm me or Jessica Shaffer. The future of our group:
As many of you know we have been trying to decide where to go from here. We have had several asking and some pleading for us to continue. We had a meeting set up to discuss exactly this. Unfortunately that meeting never happened because it was at that exact moment I was called to go the hospital after my husband's tragic death. And right now I just can't continue on in leadership. So, our group will not proceed under the MOPS charter for this year (I did not renew our membership). We can continue as just a mom's group if enough people would be interested. But it would just become a social non-organized group. Unless someone would be willing to step up. Please comment below & let me know if you would still be interested in attending. We can look into continued child care if we have enough. If you are interested in taking over leadership please PM me. I am still praying for our group & it's ministry and I believe there still is a future ❤

Well our 5th year of Jennerstown MOPS is officially in the books. We had a wonderful end of year meeting & I hope everyone who attended had a good time. We missed several ladies today & we hope you plan on joining us again next year! I hope everyone has an awesome summer!!!

We have had quite a few mom's lately who are interested in joining us! This week is going to be great and I'm so excited! We have guest speakers that will be talking about grief and loss. This is something we all have experienced and it can be so difficult to overcome. If you have been thinking about coming, please let this Thursday be that day. We will be waiting with open hearts and hot coffee 😘
