If you know about Optimist International, you know our mission is about bringing out the best in kids, our communities, and ourselves.
When Girl Scout cookie time came around this year, some members of our Jenks Optimist Club got to thinking. Some people know Girl Scouts, some don’t. Kids aren’t set up outside the big box stores because of the pandemic, and aren’t ringing doorbells in their neighborhoods to sell their cookies. Let’s help them out! There’s an easy way to do that.
On the order form this year, you can order cookies for yourselves, or you can donate to Cookies for a Cause. Girl Scouts will give your donated cookies to local heroes, troops overseas from our community, as well as local first responders and food banks.
Let’s help the kids, say thank you to local heroes and help our community. Now that’s one smart cookie!
