The TGH house is busy. Our townhomes are filling up. And the need just keeps coming. 🤍

Right now, three of our four townhomes are full, and we have another one of our girls getting ready to turn 18.

But the truth is, our care doesn’t stop when a girl leaves our home, or even when she’s never lived under our roof.

We get calls from young women who have aged out of foster care and are couch hopping, facing homelessness, or simply need someone to call. And sometimes the needs feel bigger than what we should possibly be able to carry.

But somehow, we keep getting to say YES.

A random donation comes in at exactly the right time. Someone drops off what we need from our Amazon wishlist. A community partner steps up. A donor says, “How can I help?”

This work isn’t easy. But goodness, it is worthy.

So here we go. Buckle up. Serving never really stops around here—and that’s okay. These girls are worth it. Every single time.

And if you want to be part of what makes those YESes possible, we have just 8 tables remaining for our Dream Gala! We would love to have you in the room with us. 🤍

Okay, everyone… something BIG is coming. 🤍

We can’t share all the details yet, but we’ve been praying, dreaming and working behind the scenes; and we’re getting ready to step into a really exciting new season at Tulsa Girls’ Home.

And we’re going to need YOU. Our community. Our people. All hands on deck before the new year!

For now, just pray for us, keep loving our girls, and stay tuned.

We’re building something that years from now, we’ll get to look back and say, “We helped make that happen.”

Thank you for showing up for our girls over and over again. The best is yet to come.

First day feels at TGH 🤍📚✨

We started our morning with Mojos, lots of pictures, and THREE SENIORS heading into their final year of high school!!

We are just so proud of these girls. For many of them, this isn’t just another “first day.” Some have attended 10+ schools throughout their childhood, constantly having to start over, learn new hallways, meet new teachers, and find their place all over again.

But today, they walked into school knowing they have a home and a whole community cheering them on.

We love these girls BIG and could not be more excited for what this year, and their futures, hold.🤍

Life After Foster Care Is Hard. Managing Money Shouldn’t Be.

Aging out of foster care comes with a lot of firsts—a first apartment, a first bill, creating a first budget, and many first big financial decisions. Now, girls in foster care don’t have to figure it all out all on their own.

Tulsa Girls’ Home’s Beyond Care program has partnered with Oklahoma Central Credit Union and Banzai to provide FREE financial wellness courses designed to help youth aging out of foster care build confidence with their money and future.

Today was one of those days that reminds us why community matters so much. 🤍

Today, we got to help “H” move into her foster home.Just a short time ago, this sweet girl didn’t have a place to land. Our hope was simple: keep her close to Tulsa Girls’ Home, close to her school, her teachers, her friends, and the community that has walked alongside her. Then an incredible single mom stepped forward and said, “Yes.”

But saying yes to foster care shouldn’t mean doing it alone.

When we shared H’s story, this community showed up in the most beautiful way. So many of you purchased items from her Amazon wishlist, donated bedding, furniture, and all the little things that transform a room into a home.

Today, an amazing team from Schuber Mitchell Homes rolled up their sleeves to build her bed and nightstands, making sure H has a beautiful space to begin this new chapter.

At the same time, Good Neighbor came out to clean up the yard, pull weeds, and help prepare the home so this family could start this journey with confidence.

This is what it looks like to surround foster families.

It’s not just about placing a child in a home, it’s about wrapping that family in support, encouragement, and practical help so they know they are never doing this alone.

To every person who donated, prayed, shopped, built furniture, cleaned the yard, or simply believed in H’s future… thank you. You are part of her story now.

And to the incredible foster mom who courageously said yes—thank you for opening your heart and home. We are honored to stand beside you.

It truly takes a village, and today that village showed up in the most beautiful way. ❤️

Back-to-school season is about more than new clothes—it’s about confidence, hope, and the chance for a fresh start. 💕

We’re thrilled to partner with Tulsa Premium Outlets in Jenks to launch Outfit Her Future—a community-wide initiative to help girls in foster care start the school year with confidence.

Right now, you can visit the Tulsa Premium Outlets, pick a shopping tag from our display, purchase the requested item, and return your donation to the mall. Every gift helps ensure a girl at Tulsa Girls’ Home has the essentials she needs for a successful school year.

For many of our girls, a new outfit is more than clothing—it’s a reminder that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by their community.

Together, we can help every girl walk into school feeling confident, encouraged, and ready to succeed.

Sometimes faith asks you to move before you feel ready.

Our plan was to wait until our Dream Gala in November to share this. To quietly prepare and ask for support then.

But we can’t wait.

Because every day we see a need that simply cannot.

One of the hardest parts of what we do at Tulsa Girls’ Home is watching girls work so hard to heal, build friendships, find stability, and finally feel like they belong… only to face another transition because of a timeline.

We have beautiful transitional living townhomes for girls who age out of Tulsa Girls’ Home, but Oklahoma law only allows a girl to remain in our QRTP for 12 months unless a judge approves an extension. While some transition into our townhomes, others simply aren’t ready to age out. Finding families willing to welcome a junior or senior in high school into their home is incredibly difficult.

Every day we tell our girls that healing is possible. That growth is worth the hard work. That if they keep believing, better days are ahead.

So how could we ask them to have faith if we’re unwilling to have it ourselves?

So today, we’re taking a step of faith.

We have $150,000 left to raise to purchase a foster care home near Tulsa Girls’ Home.

A home where girls can stay in the community they’ve grown to love.

A home where they don’t have to leave their school, their team, their therapist, their job, their church, their friends, or the people who have become family simply because a timeline says it’s time.

A home that says, “If you still need us… we choose you.”

Whether you give, share this post, pray with us, or tell someone about our mission, you’re helping build more than a house.

You’re helping build a future where every girl knows she is seen, she is valued, and above all… She is chosen. 🤍

Today was such a special day. 🧡

The girls from Tulsa Girls’ Home had the incredible opportunity to serve alongside TC Nation, helping pack 202,176 meals that will be sent around the world while also helping provide food for more than 500 children right here in our local community.

There is something so powerful about watching our girls step up to serve others. Many of them know what it’s like to go without, yet today they chose to give back with joyful hearts. Seeing them work together, encourage one another, and realize that they have something meaningful to offer the world was a beautiful reminder of just how far they’ve come.

Healing isn’t just about what we receive, it’s also about discovering the joy and purpose that comes from serving others.

We’re so grateful to TC Nation for welcoming us, cheering our girls on, and giving them the opportunity to be part of something so much bigger than themselves.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year. 🤍 TulsaGirlsHome Transformation Church Michael Todd

There’s something special about the Jenks community. 🤍

We are continually amazed by the local businesses that find simple but meaningful ways to love on the girls and staff at Tulsa Girls’ Home. Whether it’s a thoughtful donation, a kind gesture, or dropping off the most incredible pastries, you remind our girls that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

A huge thank you to Croissants by Sheila Anne for surprising us with the most beautiful and delicious pastries. They were absolutely amazing!

To all of our Jenks businesses that go out of your way to support our mission and make our home feel extra special—thank you.
