It’s Aspyn’s birthday week. 🩷🏹

In four days, Aspyn would be 11 years old.

There’s something about her birthday approaching that always makes the “what ifs” feel a little louder.

What would she look like at 11?
What would she be into?
Who would her friends be?
What would make her laugh?
What kind of big sister would she be?

I wish more than anything that I knew those answers.

But while I don’t get to watch Aspyn grow up, I do get to watch her legacy grow.

And that is such a gift. 🩷

This week, we want to celebrate Aspyn’s 11th birthday by doing what Aspyn Arrows was created to do:

Help another family protect the baby they love.

Our birthday wish is to provide 11 Owlet monitors to 11 families in honor of Aspyn turning 11.

11 monitors.
11 babies.
11 families.
All because of one little girl whose life continues to make a difference. 🏹

This month, Aspyn would be turning 11.

Eleven birthdays we’ve celebrated differently than we ever imagined we would.

But over the years, I’ve learned that there are so many ways to keep loving someone after they’re gone.

For us, one of those ways is Aspyn Arrows.

So in honor of our girl, here are 11 ways you can help carry Aspyn’s love forward this September:

Into the hands of a mom who wants one more layer of reassurance when she lays her baby down to sleep.

Into a box containing an Owlet monitor headed to a family who may not otherwise be able to afford one.

Into moments like the photos we receive from families saying:

At Aspyn Arrows, our goal is simple but incredibly meaningful: provide two Owlet monitors every single week to families who need them.

That means approximately 104 babies every year.

104 opportunities to carry Aspyn’s name and legacy forward. 🩷

Sometimes a picture says everything. 🩷

This sweet girl received an Owlet monitor from Aspyn Arrows last week, and shortly after, her family sent us this photo with the sweetest thank you.

THIS is Aspyn’s legacy.

A baby being monitored.
A family feeling a little more supported.
A gift given in memory of a little girl who continues to make an impact almost 11 years after she left us.

September is Aspyn’s birthday month. She would be turning 11 on September 25th, and this month we’re going to celebrate her by sharing more of the beautiful ways her life continues to touch other families.

Every monitor we give is because someone chose to donate, share our story, or support our mission.

And every single time we send one out, I think:

September is Aspyn’s month. 🩷🏹

September has always carried a little more weight in our family.

On September 25th, Aspyn would be turning 11 years old.

Eleven. ❤️

I wonder all the time who she would be today. What she would look like. What she would love. What kind of personality she would have. What her brothers and sister would think was so annoying about their big sister. 😊

There are so many pieces of her life we never got to know.

But there is one thing I do know:

Her life continues to matter.

Aspyn Arrows was created from the deepest heartbreak imaginable, with the hope that Aspyn’s story could somehow help protect other babies and support other families.

And today, every time we place an Owlet monitor into the hands of another family, a little piece of her story keeps moving forward. 🩷

So this September, we’re going to celebrate 11 years of Aspyn by sharing more of her story, the families her legacy is reaching, and the incredible impact your support makes possible.

And as we get closer to September 25th, we’ll be asking our community to help us celebrate her 11th birthday in a very special way.

Thank you for welcoming us back after several months away.

We’re excited for what’s ahead as we continue serving families, raising awareness about safe sleep, and growing this mission together.
